Recipe: Sous Vide Rhubarb Jam

Jam has a short life span in our household - no matter your shade of marmalade or raspberry. A personal favourite has always been rhubarb jam. Strawberries add a delightful sweetness, but rhubarb on itself is rich and tart. Mix with yogurt for an impromptu grab and go yogurt cup!

Recipe: Sous Vide Cheesecake in a Jar

Traditionally, cheesecake is made with a faux-water bath. Using sous vide innovates on this history by offering 360 degrees of steady heat, precise temperature control, and hands-off cooking. Even better, the base for cheescake is constant - allowing for a mix and match in just one batch. Top with blueberries for the traditional, strawberries and caramel, or something else entirely. The world is yours, and there's cheesecake for dessert.

Recipe: Sous Vide Creme Brulee

Creme Brulee can be intimidating for even experienced kitchen cooks. Custard is extremely sensitive to heat, which makes it a perfect pairing for the fine temperature control of sous vide cooking. Sous Vide Cheesecake

Similarly to the Crème Brûlée, these mini cheesecakes are also made in 4oz canning jars. Kids absolutely love them! I use a simple graham cracker crust at the base of the jar - if you have the time, pre-baking the crust in the jars for 10 minutes helps develop a traditional cheesecake crust. However, simply adding the crust mixture without baking still results in an amazing and fun dessert. When finished, top the dessert with your favorite fruit!
