Sous Vide Honey Glazed Carrots

Cooking carrots sous vide captures all of the intense carrot flavor within the bag while also retaining much more of the nutritional value. At 185F for just under an hour, you will experience the best carrots you’ve ever had – no more mushy veggies! Add a little bit of honey and cinnamon for a delicious glaze that even the kids will love.

- Cook: 45 mins
6-8 Medium to Large Sized Carrots, Washed and Peeled
3 Tbs Unsalted Butter
2 Tbs Honey
1 Cinnamon Stick
Sea Salt to Taste
1Preheat water bath to 185F
2Wash and peel carrots
3Combine all ingredients into your sous vide bag and seal.
4Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
5(Optional) Remove the carrots from the bag and sear on a hot pan or grill for 1-2 minutes to help caramelize the carrots.
6Serve with sea salt and drizzled honey to taste.
